We have had the amazing opportunity to be with Amanda for 2 years. This past year was a transition for my daughter because this was the first time she was away from her bigger sister as she ventured into school. I'm so grateful that my daughter was already comfortable with Amanda and she helped to make those first few "alone" weeks a really great time. My daughter got to meet some new friends and is over the moon to tell me she has a best friend now, I'm happy those strong bonding moments are able to happen in this home setting. Amanda keeps the kids engaged with so many different activities, games, science experiments and even getting the kids to help with making snacks. My daughter brings home awesome crafts, tells me about being the special helper, and songs me new songs all the time. The growth I've seen in my daughter is outstanding and I'm confident with her moving on to Kindergarten soon. Amanda has incredible patience, unique ideas, and is a great role model. Finding this Pre School was blessing for my family and I know that any child would have a fabulous time here. Thank you Amanda for the incredible home and learning center you offer these kids.  

Our twins adore Ms Amanda. Her care, love and nurturing of her students shines in everything she does. She makes them feel special and unique every day. As a certificated teacher, Amanda devotes much time and effort in planning her themes, lessons and activities. She focuses on development of the whole child. She provides healthy food and regular physical activity and movement both indoors and out for physical care. She nurtures cognitive development and skills through age appropriate and engaging lessons and activities. She facilitates social-emotional well-being and respect and empathy for others. The group is like a little family! My boys are so proud of the creative art activities they bring home each week based on themes and seasonal events. Amanda encourages growth and development through creative play, social interaction and a stimulating environment. Amanda is a true gem and we are so blessed to have our boys in her devoted and experienced care.

Ever since the first day we visited Amanda and her learning centre to see if it would be the right fit for our son, we felt right at home. Amanda has been very flexible with scheduling, and is always responsive to texts, emails and phone calls. Our son’s learning has dramatically increased, as well as his social skills and interaction with other children. Our son feels very comfortable and absolutely loves going to “school” every week. The crafts, outdoor time, little excursions, dance parties, theme days, photos, videos and meal plans on the app are added bonuses, and Amanda seems to always go above and beyond in being very involved with the kids that she takes care of. We plan on putting our youngest son in Amanda’s learning centre as soon as he is of age - we couldn’t be more pleased! 

I have been taking my 2 kids to Little Owl Learning for over 2 years now and they love going and adore Amanda. She is so caring and hands on and provides such a wonderful and fun environment. She lets the kids learn through play as well as doing so many fun crafts, activities, themes and outdoor play and I have really seen great change and growth in my children, especially my 3 year old. It really is a child and parents dream to be part of this dayhome family.

After having a dayhome for years that my 5 children loved, I found myself looking for a new childcare arrangement for my youngest two kiddos. We spent almost 6 months looking at different options and finally decided on Little Owl Learning Centre. Meeting with Amanda, we were impressed with her background as a preschool and kindergarten teacher, her willingness to transform her home for the children’s space and even more so by the way she got down and talked with the kids.  

It was daunting to trust my two Littles to someone new, but we have truly been blessed to have them placed with Amanda. The kids bring home fun arts and crafts, talk at the dinner table about the letters they are learning and the time spent outside with their new friends. Best of all, it is easy to get them up in the morning to attend Little Owl and sometimes they even ask on a Saturday if it’s an “Amanda day.”  

As a parent, I have found Amanda flexible to work with and communicate with. I love the app she uses to post fees, track the kids meals or send messages and it brightens my day when I get a notification while at my desk and a picture of my kids in the middle of a creative mess, preparing their own lunch or with rosy cheeks at the park pops up!  

If you want to send your children to a place where they will learn, grow and belong, I would absolutely recommend Amanda and Little Owl Learning Centre.   

 I'm lucky enough to have my daughter attend Little Owl Learning Centre. From the 1st day, I saw such a change in my 4 year old. She used to be quite nervous and shy when meeting new children and was quite the homebody. Now, she jumps up in the morning excited to go to school and in the afternoons does not want to come home. My daughter talks about all the amazing things they learned and not to mention the project's and crafts she brings home.  
Amanda has such a calm and caring demeanor and is not only kind and patient with her students but she also joins in the fun with them. She has great tools and learning techniques to get the children to not only have fun but learn as they are doing it.  The time Amanda spends planning the next day with the activities, projects, outdoor play and learning is absolutely amazing! Not to mention the holiday themes she does and the fun food and healthy snacks she creates.  
When my daughter started in October 2020 she could not write a single letter or word nor did she have any interest in learning. Now after only a few short months attending Little Owl Preschool she can write and identify the letters of the alphabet and words and she enjoys it so much that she wants to do it even at home💗🙏 We are so grateful to have met Amanda and the environment she makes for the kids.
I would recommend anyone with a 3-5 year old to get them to attend Little Own Learning Centre and watch your child learn, grow and excel as well as make new friends and prepare them for Kindergarten.
